Christopher O'ConorChristopher F. O'Conor, 38, is a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, where he received an Associates of Arts degree in Liberal Arts in 1988. He has spent the intervening time trying to keep his family happy and debt-free. He has succeeded in neither of these endeavors, but his two beautiful children get along fine nevertheless. He is currently employed in Ft. Myers, Florida, as a computer technician and knowledge base developer for a Global 100 electronics manufacturer that pays him next to nothing. In his brief spare time he enjoys reading about history, coaching Little League Baseball, playing computer games, singing barbershop harmony, and picking on liberals. Richard JonesRichard Jones grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and currently resides in Naples, Florida. His heart is in Colorado. He proudly declares that his vote counted in 2000; he successfully placed the stylus in the desired hole every time, and applied adequate force to perforate the paper ballot. He does not believe this achievement should entitle him to membership in Mensa. Richard told us all more about himself than any of us really wanted to know in a lengthy introductory post. Steven JohnsonSteven Johnson is 43 years old and has been married almost 8 years to a gorgeous bride he really doesn't deserve. He is a resident of Naples, Florida, transplanted from his native Columbus, Ohio. He is also a former Army Reserve Officer (Combat Engineer), but is most proud of being a dyed-in-the-wool, 100% loyal Ohio State Buckeye - that last bit owing a great deal to the fact that he was actually born ON CAMPUS at the University Hospital. He has earned a BSBA degree, and is also a certified MCP, MCSE, SCUBA diver, and First Aid Trainer. Like Rick, Steve decided to submit an introduction post that said a little bit more about himself. Unlike Rick, Steve's introduction post wasn't very introductory, since it only appeared six months after he began writing here. (Though he did manage to beat Chris's prediction.) Dan WheelerDaniel E. Wheeler is the youngest of the group at nearly 34. Born and raised in the lunatic state of Maryland, he holds a bachelor's degree in physical science secondary education granted by Salisbury State University in 1994. He used that degree to get every job under which he has been employed, despite the fact that only 2 of them were actually teaching positions. In 1999, he married a strong-willed, drowning conservative, full-blooded Puerto Rican (from Long Island). She promptly persuaded him to move to Punta Gorda, Florida. Additionally, she has bore him 2 sons (she had no choice in that matter, really) of above average intelligence and looks. Dan fully believes that his life is completely under the direction of the Almighty God and he has a Visio diagram to prove it. He serves as sound man, webmaster, and deacon at the Punta Gorda Alliance Church. Additionally, he enjoys a good game of sudoku from time to time. He can be reached at dan@theblackrepublican.net. |
