England: Killing children with defects acceptable
I strongly suggest this piece by Scotland on Sunday as "Recommended Reading".

I needed to read only into the second paragragh to find a statement with which I could agree; that being, "he did not see any distinction between aborting a fully grown unborn baby at 40 weeks and killing a child after it had been born. " Taking those words out of the context of this story, I couldn't agree more; both are murder, ethically they are equal. Unfortunately, this professor ( a title that is coming to be as reviled as the term lawyer) is trying to say that both actions are equally correct. To extend his logic, killing a damaged person of any age becomes ethically acceptable. Very troubling! By Harris' rationale, any killing could be made to fit some description of the elimination of a problem person. This guy Harris is lacking intellecual depth. He would have been right at home during the Salem witch trials.

I watched a wonderfully acted and produced film last night, and it was truely sickening - as it should have been! The film was Consperacy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266425/) and I think that Mr. Harris would have felt right at home sitting at the table and giving his thoughts on the proper "solution"!
And people have the nerve to call us "Nazis"!!!
