A Sign Of The Times
Following up an on idea that Steve introduced here some time back, comes news from Mexico that they are placing non-removable microchip traces inside of their important authorities.
It is little wonder that CNN.com places this in their "Offbeat" section. In this changing world, mad as it has gone, this is a solution to the kidnapping threat that actually has application. But lefties, like those at CNN, have no vision, and would, of course, think it an odd idea. It would be better placed in a section titled, great new innovations for our time.
The system is here and I already have it. It's solely for access, for safety and so that I can be located at any moment wherever I am,..... -Mexican Attorney General Rafael Macedo
hat tip-
In a crime riddled nation, such as Mexico or Iraq, this system could save a good man's life. Of course the left will decry it as Orwellian, an invasion of privacy, or some other disconnected rabble babble. I know that if I take a job in Iraq, my contract will include my being wired up to a location detection system. And, I will put it in writing, that if I am taken, and rescue is not feasible; the USAF has my permission to carpet bomb my location. You may be thinking that I am losing my mind? Well, I would be dead either way, I would just really, really like knowing that the scum that took me were fried as well. Call it my pre-emptive inprecatory prayer.

Al, you are such a fool. Have you ever had an independent thought in your life? Do you know anything about history? Or do you simply regurgitate any charge that fits into your limited worldview?
Your analogies are flawed beyond explanation! It was Republicans who formed to give equal protection to America's black population. It was a Republican President who emanicipated blacks in the south. It was Republicans who voted in the greater proportion for the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Get an education fool; your statements expose that you don't have a clue!
Otherwise, thanks for stopping by; you are now interacting with truth and reason, your journey away from madness has begun.

Well Al, you posted didn't you?
And as a matter of fact I do read the newspaper, every day... bits and pieces from several in fact, as well as several online news sites, and about a dozen or so web logs. What's your point? Are you insinuating that Blacks cannot be, should not be, or are not conservative or Republican? If you believe that I suggest that you read some of the things written by Ambra Nykol, Michael H. King, Darmon C. Thornton, Samantha Pierce, La Shawn Barber, Michael D. Cobb Bowen or Avery Tooley (et al), all linked to from this site, BTW. While not all of these people are "Republicans" I would suggest that every one of them embodies the spirit and ideals of the original Black Republican and from whom you, obviously, could learn a thing or two.
I suggest that you follow Richard suggestion and read up on your history... and the person to whom this web log is dedicated would be a great place to start. One of my favorite quotes from The Black Republican is this one which, BTW, you should read before succumbing to the urge to post a comment to any web log: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

The guy named "Al" visited my site earlier today too. He must be bored. His job as a bagboy down at the Kroger doesn't keep him very busy and his mom is always yelling at him to clean his room.
As far as the implanted microchip is concerned, they're going to have to define "non-removable". I'd hate to get kidnapped then have some scumbag with a very sharp knife rooting around in my body in order to remove that microchip.

"they're going to have to define 'non-removable'."
Good point JDM. I took it mean that is was implanted rather part of a bracelet, or such. Ultimately everything is removable. The best you could hope for, I suppose, is to disguise its location well enough to postpone removal long enough for the cavalry to find you.
As to Al, he read this blog's title and decided he knew everything about it. A common phenomenon is for the semi-involved to read a headline, and then associate the theme with a preconceived notion, work done. I think I will call that a bumper sticker intellect. They bump into an artifact, stick it to a prejudice, and call it thinking.
