Mike's Insight

I was laughing so hard when I heard this yesterday; I am glad Rush put it on his site.

CALLER: I just wanted to make the comment that it seems to me, you know, that it seems to me that the liberal position about George W. Bush and taking us to war in Iraq has been that he took us to war in Iraq based on a lie. And the 9/11 Commission was able to prove that that was false. However, it does seem to me that John Kerry took us out of a war based on a lie, and I think we need to start asking more questions about that. RUSH: That's an interesting take. That's an interesting take. You have been a great student. We ought to give you -- you know, we're thinking of starting our own swift boat unit here, the EIB Swift Boats for Truth --

CALLER: Reporting for duty, sir.

RUSH: (Laughing.) Make you a commander. That's an interesting juxtaposition, because the left is lying about -- they do think Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction. They do think Bush lied about Saddam. They think lied about everything to get us into war. It's inexplicable. But yet Kerry comes home, Vietnam Vets Against the War, starts lying about some of these atrocities and it helps turn the tide. So he got us out of a war based on a lie. Interesting thought. I like the way you're thinking out there, typical of a student here at the Limbaugh Institute. Thanks, Mike, very much.
