For the children
I wonder if the islamofascists are planning for another Beslan - American style? If so, do you think that John Kerry has a plan for putting UN sanctions in place afterwards? Or maybe he'll bring all the powers of US Law Enforcement to bear in order to convict the perpetrators of such a crime!
Personally, I like the fact that, as Dennis Miller puts it, President George W. Bush just wants to kill these animals BEFORE they butcher our kids!
Update: It seems this issue hits a bit closer to home than I knew. One of the school districts mentioned was right here in SW Florida!
Update #2:Upon reading this post, a coworker mentioned that if such a thing were to happen here, then Americans would be, as she put it "out for blood." My only question to her was "Why does it have to happen here for Americans to get off their asses and do something about these butchers?" It seems painfully obvious to me this election will come down to whether you have a pre 9-11 mind set (Kerry) or a post 9-11 mind set (Bush)... whether you believe it's right to do everything we can to prevent an American Beslan, or that we have to use diplomacy and seek the blessings of the UN until we have an American Beslan!

I feel the same way as one of the schools is close (1 hour away) from my home in SE Michigan. I wonder what Kerry would have to say if some of these schools were in his beautiful state?

To me, that, succinctly, expresses the point that John Kerry et al are missing (read: conveniently ignoring).
