Barone is right on target, but I think, at least in this excerpt, he puts too much emphasis on the Right-side Blogosphere's focus on the MSM. I mean to say, we on the Right are expressing many postive positions along with the positive emphasis on getting to the truth. Our purpose with regard to the MSM is not to destroy the MSM, it is to make it responsible to all views, and responsible for what it tells us. The goal is a media that informs without agenda, a positive result. The same, a positive result, can be said of the goal on all the other issues which the Right-side Blogosphere tackles. That the most dramatic achievements to date have occurred in the area of MSM reconstruction should not lead anyone to believe that such area is the only interest of R-s Bs. Nor should they misconstrue the intent in exposing Rather, NYT, CNN, et al; we are not about tearing down, the MSM is welcome to get onboard the integrity train, we are about building a better machine. We are about sharing perspectives and improving life, the Left-wing Blogospheres are a cadre of negative know-nothings bent only on destroying the perceived enemy of the day. The Right is yearning that all people's are awakened to the benefits of liberty, ethical behavior and personal responsibilites. The Left clusters together waiting for the next attack strategy mantra to be concocted so that they can get their chant fix as a junkie waits for that next shot of smack so he can feel good again. Neither the Left-wing Blogger, nor the junkie ever gets to feel real, or accomplish anything. Both are mired in a self-imposed funk, projecting the hate they have for themselves on those who don't need the junk.
