15 minutes in the Blogosphere

So, it's getting close to 5pm, and I decide to open a browser window and see what James Taranto has to say this afternoon. Item #1 is the story of someone claiming to be a former Marine sergeant of Lebanese descent, one Nadim Abou Rabeh. Abou Rabeh claims that Marines actually caught Saddam Hussein after a firefight and Delta Force worked with Army Intelligence to fabricate the out-of-the-spider-hole story. Interesting.

I open a new browser window to Google. I copy from Taranto and paste in "Nadim Abou Rabeh". #1 hit is Myopic Zeal. EW links to Michelle Malkin and OTB. Michelle links to LGF. LGF links to Neocon.

As the commenter Abe points out there:

Great work. The blogosphere is freaking amazing. By the time I even hear a rumor these days, it's aleady been debunked in detail.
Indeed.
