Our newest feature: The SF-180 Clock

PoliPundit has come up with something that I'm sure will make Rick chortle with glee. It's a javascript block that informs us just how long we've been waiting since a certain Massachusetts Democrat (who, by the way, delivered weapons to the Khmer Rouge) promised to release ALL his military records.

(The SF-180 Clock appears in a block at the bottom of the left sidebar. It seems appropriate there, underneath Blogs for Bush.)

What I find amazing is that all this fuss is a result of what might be in those records. Reportedly, they may reveal a deep, dark secret: John Kerry may have served in Vietnam. Why he just didn't come out and tell people that when he was running for President, I don't know. I'm sure it would have gotten him a few more votes.

Great find Chris! I would rather the clock date to his appearance last year when he promised that all of his records would be available, but, he did not actually promise to sign the Standard Form 180 until this last appearance. So the clock is right for what it tracks.

I wish he would hurry up and sign, I am so looking forward to hearing of great work, he must have been some kind of hero to get all those awards. Is it too much to say, an Audie Murphy for my generation? Perhaps we should not compare him to another, lest we lose sight of each's unique contribution. And, like you I am so anxious to learn where he served. The time was right for it to be Vietnam, but as you point out, had he been there we would have heard.

So, again I say; SIGN THE 180 SENATOR!

The appearance of Terry McAwful filling in for Alan Colmes on "Hannity and Colmes" last reminded me that I wanted to start a list of unfinished business.

It would include McAuliffe's missing explanation of the fortune he made from the failing Global Crossing venture, Hill's missing explantion of her cattle futures bonanza, who created the false National guard documents,...several others; and, of course, the unrealised promise made by the junior Senator from Massachusetts.

ARGH….

…Desist ye mere scratchings of the earth….I am King of Cong, Lord of Laos, Count of Cambodia, Viscount of Vietnam, Earl of Heinz and Baron of Gray Matter…mere peasants may not tell their betters what to do and when to do it…I goeth as the wind goes, to and fro to the ends of the earth...in my own time I will reveal my magnificence to ye, ye dung of the earth and ye will shudder and be in awe. Ye will know my servants as the number 180 will be on their foreheads and they will be blessed.
