I always feel compelled to justify myself when this comes up.

Normally, I have a policy not to approve messages that are unsolicited advertisements (essentially spam) trying to divert people from my bandwidth to somewhere else - even when I agree with the content or the reference is basically harmless. Related articles of info and the like are fine, but if you want me to reference a website, please send me an email and I'll consider working it into a post. Basically, I'm asking that I be allowed to do something for you out of friendship and courtesy, rather than letting you use my site as a billboard for free.

That said, I've got a warm fuzzy spot for Laura, and this is something I especially find agreeable and harmless - even perhaps helpful. So for those who've heard me state that policy previously: Yes, I'm letting this one slide.
