Getting through... Day by Day
Rick mentioned to me this afternoon how much he'd like to comment on today's Day by Day strip. I know a lot of times we all might have a similar impulse, and that the Day by Day site doesn't have any commenting mechanism. So on the chance Chris Muir won't have the time to implement one [Chris: hint-hint], here's a thread that will be devoted just to comments about Chris's great cartoons.
EDIT: I'm aware that I may have thrown the template for IE out of whack. I'm working on it, please be patient.
EDIT2: Fixed now, sorry for the funky pages for awhile.
EDIT3: For a long time, the comments for this article weren't working properly, as advertised, and most times noticing, I was too tired and/or lazy to fix it. Our recent upgrade of the MT software may have resolved the issue.... we'll see how it goes.
Here's today's strip... meaning whichever "today" you happen to be reading this. :-)
Day By Day© by Chris Muir.
EDIT: A suggestion... before after commenting on a particular strip, include the URL to the .gif of that's day's entry (or include the date and I'll add it into your comment). Firefox users can click on the cartoon, then when you're at the Day by Day site, right-click on the cartoon and click View Image. (The link must come AFTER the comment or it will screw up formatting on the front page. Thanks.)

Comments
I think there'd still be an Air America broadcast without those four words but it just be "Haliburton" over and over.

Great work Chris! And by that I mean compliments to both of you Chris'; O'Conor for adding a comment line to the work of Muir, and Muir for his tremendous editorial cartoon.

As I told Mr. Muir in an e-mail, I love this kind of humor, dry and direct. Not to mention accurate, even though, as MKL points out, the list of words is not comprehensive. You would actually need to filter five (Haliburton) words, or six (liar), but the point is made with four. I saw the punch line coming, but still laughed. A great jab at the mind-numbed idiotbots at AA.

LOL. Ann Coulter was on with Leno last night and made the same point; the libs have no arguments to throw at us, only food.

Hey Chris, first time you trip in here, I have a question: foil, epee' or sabre?

Chris, as I said before, look for Bolton to be confirmed before Kerry signs, then we can have the Senate vote on the judges.
Okay, I thought it over, we can't wait for Kerry. i suspect that with his wife paying the bills, he hasn't had to sign his name in years, and may have forgotten how it goes.

Brilliant! Captures perfectly the inequity between what terrorists do, and the charges leveled against our young men and women, and how "our" media undermines our interests.

I hadn't noticed this thread's comments were closed. I forgot that our anti-spam software requires a comment within the last 14 days or it will close the ability to comment for that entry. So, I'll leave this comment here at the bottom and change the date every two weeks to keep this thread's comment section open if no one has posted recently. Enjoy!

Crap - too hard to change the date stamp, I'll just keep bumping the thread and hope that's sufficient.

I don't know if I'm now a hypocrite, but I know I laughed!

Okay, I've thought there was a mild insinuation before, but this seems to be blatant. Did I miss a strip or two, or is Sam not pregnant?

What tools did you use to solve the problems with comments?

I'm not even sure what the error was, but the problem was fixed way back when we moved to version 3.0 of MT.
