Cap't Ed has a story about the Cook County jail, in Dhurbin's home state.
Let's see if we can guess where the following abuses took place -- Gitmo or Cook County:In one incident, an elite squad of 40 guards took over a maximum-security [unit] ... for the sole purpose of beating and terrorizing the prisoners. A jail investigator determined that the guards' misconduct was covered up by ... medical personnel, who filed false reports and refused or delayed treatment to the prisoners, and by the ... inspector general, who refused to cooperate with the investigation. In the other incident, five inmates in a special incarceration unit ... alleged that they were beaten by 20 or more ... as they lay cuffed and shackled on the floor.
And, brought to my attention by a commenter to the CQ post, read the Durbin correspondence. And smile.:)

I know this sounds stupid, even if I agree and applaud Rush for being funny in his satirical way, he's kinda an a-hole. He pisses off the Liberals and I understand everyone has a purpose, but... I did tell Spud he incites hatred towards us. Why? Give me some names of famous left-wing inciters and then I can show Spud that Rush is no different than the mudslingers from the other side of the fence. I told you I was a wuss on defense. Don't use Al Franken. He's over-rated. :)

I'd like to help you out with that request; but for the life of me I can not think of even one lefty who angers Conservatives with accurate analogies using real events.

LOL LOL. Unbelieveable, isn't it. Micheal Jackson isn't the only one who lives in Never-Never Land, now, is he?
The Left is so revisionist that it does scare me, a lot. I hate the division in America. Hopefully, as the Left climbs higher and higher (in anger and angst), their love (of themselves) will become a funeral pyre. I guess Chris Matthews called the wackjobs. Or, at least Dean. He claims he's a Dem, too. Interesting stuff going on.
