Take Back The Memorial

There is a rally today at the Corner of Church and Liberty in in New York City. The group Take Back The Memorial is holding a press conference and rally at Ground Zero. But if you're like me, regardless how much you may want to attend and lend support to their cause to keep the Political Correct blame America crowd from spoiling the WTC memorial site, you live too far away or have too many other obligations to attend (not a work obligation though - cause we know that us white Christians have never made an honest living in our lives!). But there is something that those of us who live in the rest of the country can do to contribute to the cause - sign the petition! We cannot let the people who hate what America stands for change the focus of the WTC 9/11 memorial, or rewrite history.

If this Burke you are quoting is from Ireland, and wrot a book on War, I think... then you have a soulmate at MoltenThought, who is a very great blogger on politics and war. They are having a Blogathon on July 2... could you pass it around. It's in support of our Armed Forces and I think it'll be a cool thing.

These people who want to have a "freedom museum" at the site should have their agenda adjusted; let there be a freedom museum, but let it be a display of only the new freedoms we are bringing to the world. Nothing negative. None of the blame America bullshit that is now planned. Let it be positive. And let it chroncle the new found freedoms which are being realized each and every day as a result of America's leadership. A living museum which grows as freedom grows. And both will grow, be there no doubt.

And let it serve as a testament to the good nature of these United States, and of the good things we wish for, and are fighting for the rest of the world, and for ourselves.

That would be a memorial befitting the sacrifice paid by those on 9/11. The terrorists came to destroy freedom, let us show that freedom came back stronger than ever in response. And, absolutely, no PC bullshit allowed.

Thanks for the link. We need to keep those turds away from this project
