This is neither a illustration of my personal feelings about the looney left anti-war protesters, nor of the critical thinking I am capable of concerning the same. While it is true that I do not hold Mother Sheehan and her ilk in very high regard socially, politically or intellectually, I would not use the term insinuated by Matt Drudge as a descriptor for them - mainly because I can easily come up with several more appropriate, and much more accurate terms: vapid, infantile, disingenuous, insipid, milquetoast, detestable, naive, banal, duplicitous... I could go on, but I think you get my point. It is Drudge's inference that I found humorous, and the humor of the inference that I wanted to convey. Nothing more.

I'll tell you what, in the spirit of fairness and civility, I'll be glad to cede the point and admit that my parroting of Matt Drudge's play on words was more than a bit crass, and even tasteless, if you will admit that this, this, this, this, this and this are not only crass and tasteless, but humorless as well.
