What Did The Demented Agent Tell The Senile Interviewer?

'DeepThroat' On Larry King Show on Tuesday, Pushing New Book

Mark Felt, the nonagenarian former FBI agent, said to be the source made famous by Woodward and Bernstein as Deep Throat, is doing a television interview, with Larry King asking the questions? I can't wait to hear what Laura has to say about this meeting.

Ingraham has targeted Larry King in the past for his lack of connection to reality, and now King is going to interview a diagnosed dementia patient about events which took place some thirty years ago? This is too good to be true.

I have one question, how can I record Laura's response? I need to hear her every sardonic word, over, and over again. I am expecting a major belly laugh over this one, too rich.

Of course, dementia patients, (my Mother is one), tend to have better long term recall than is their short term recall. My Mother, for example, recognizes that I am her son, but she can not recall my name, and she has no idea what she did yesterday, or even ten minutes before. But she does remember some people, places and events from long ago; she just can't expound on them as to details such as name or time. She seems to re-experience them as feelings she had about them. But, to people who have not known her when she could relate how those things were important in her life her scattered message is meaningless (I know when she talks of wanting to go back "out there" she is referring to the cabin in the Colorado Rockies, for example, but who else would get her meaning?). So, what exactly could Larry King expect from this choice interview? Who knows, he is obviously past ready for his own rocking chair, maybe he thinks Felt is fine? Perhaps he will consider Felt's comments to be insightful and profound. You know, deep.

Who knows what he expects? I expect to be amused.

Update: They call the show, Larry King Live, but I saw an outtake on television this morning, more than twelve hours before the interview will air? So, is the show "Live"? I guess it depends on the definition of "is".

Update: I am disappointed. The interview was to air last night, I presume it did though I did not look for it, and during the portion of Laura I was able to hear today, not one word about the show.
