A fascinating tale, but it is disappointing that they did not address why Al Queda wanted an assertive response from the USA after the Cole bombing. What strategy does AQ have which makes them think a forceful retaliatory counter-attack would benefit their cause? They surely can't expect to defeat our military? So, why would they want us to strike back?

The answer must be in the propaganda value, a rallying point to gin up Muslim hatred of America. If so, then our media and leftist population is playing right into the hand they played. Nothing new in that though.
