What is going on here?

I was shocked and deeply saddened when I read Drudge today. One of the more prominent headlines read: UN secretary general urges Iran to stop enriching uranium. Clicking the link leads to this Breitbart.com article.

All I could think was "When did these UN types get so bold and reactionary?"

I mean they go from "UN secretary general would like Iran to stop enriching uranium" to "UN secretary general asks Iran to stop enriching uranium" and then jump straight away to "UN secretary general urges Iran to stop enriching uranium".

Whatever happened to "UN secretary general suggests Iran stop enriching uranium".

This new Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, is just way too volatile and reckless.

It's all Bush's fault! (...and Global Warming!)

Perhaps we should invade. Third invasion's a charm!

Come on! Stop banging the war drum!

I'm confused. How are we going to invade correctly without the war drums? You gotta have war drums - otherwise we're left with nothing but brass and woodwinds for the marching band.

Oh, I get it - Greg is drum averse, he's a war drum bigot. You really need to stop the hate, Greg.

When will we be rid of these anti-drumites? Has the human race made no progress at all?

Well, let's see... North Africa, Italy, and France (Normandy). Hey, the guy's right, the third invasion is a charm!

And as for the plea for us to stop banging the war drum, you two really shouldn't make fun of this guy. He obviously belongs to PETD - People for the Ethical Treatment of Drums - and just wants to end the senseless beatings that drums are forced to endure every day.

Of course, what exactly either of those two things has to do with a story about the UN Secretary General's uncharacteristically tough talk regarding Iran's efforts to enrich weapons grade uranium so that they can manufacture nuclear bombs to fire at Israel and sell to terrorists, I really don't know.
