Party Of Peace May Cancel Radio Station Jihad
The Mullahs of the Broward County (Florida) Board of Commissioners may reconsider their religious war against a local radio station which carries (insert scary organ music here) Rush Limbaugh after two moderates Mullahs of their faith returned from pilgrimage with an alternate interpretation of the Board's mandate.
"If your roof gets blown off, do you really care if the radio station that is giving you the information that you need also carries Rush Limbaugh?" Jacobs asked. "I don't think so. I don't agree with that man's philosophy and I don't listen to him, but I'm not going to not choose WIOD because of it."
If only New Orleans Mayor Nagin and Louisiana Govenor Blanco had followed such sage and practical advise in the prelude and subsequent aftermath of hurricane Katrina instead of their faithful avoidance of allowing the infidel Bush to give the help he offered, how that story could have changed for the better.
As an eminent scholar of the Democratic faith Mr. Limbaugh concisely analyzed the Broward situation.
"They are politicizing the delivery of emergency news, which is non-partisan"
Liberal politics, of course, being their religion, they were placing aside all common sense in order to punish the non-believers. In fact, their wrath was not so finely directed, they were creating a scenario wherein all people, believers and not, were sure to suffer in the event of an emergency. Hopefully this newfound grasp of reality will take hold on other fronts as well. And maybe one day the political Party of Peace will join the 21st century as a constructive and tolerant force for good.
