Obama Scream
This morning, my wife and I are listening to the news and they tell us that Ben & Jerry (yes those 2 bozos) are going to be endorsing Obama with a new flavor. The story we heard couldn't tell us what flavor it would be. She starts with "Well, it couldn't be chocolate. That would be racist. It couldn't contain Oreo cookies, either. That would just be wrong. It couldn't contain fruit, because that might offend the gays." My contribution "couldn't contain nuts because it might offend the crazy. I guess he'll just be selling a big bucket of frozen cream." For some reason, this seems like the perfect metaphor for the Obama campaign; he's all about change, but won't tell us what that change is.

Remember this, guys. It is highly likely that B. Hussein is going to be deliberate in addressing any specifics of his change platform. Most likely is we'll find out when he's elected and tries to pull a Hugo (for our own good, of course).

Karl Rove saw Obama lurch left this last week, and says it gives McCain and Clinton ample room to grill Obama over policies straight out of the hardest-left circles.

(Sorry. I'm rusty on HTML tags, or I'd have this working.)
I'm seeing it as overconfidence, getting that specific in a primary, rather than continuing the Dr. Feelgood Smoke and Mirrors Review.
Telling us what he stands for is a change, yes?

Dan,
Your kind of humor is based on demeaning others to bolster your own small ego. The majority of Americans want to put an end to racism, and the politics of fear and hatred, thats why Senator Obama is leading in pledged delegates, super delegates and popular vote. The American people are fortunate after seven years of a facist government that such a brilliant candidate is willing to take on the immense problems resulting from the Bush administration.

Katy, you might want to leave the political commentary to those of us who've spent at least part of our lives in a state of conscious self-awareness. Understanding the difference between meaningful political discourse and meaningless rhetoric would have prevented you from vapidly repeating the mindless drivel you heard on the Ellen show, read in DailyKos, or absorbed from the other impressionable young ladies in the hair salon. I will stake my friend Dan's ego against the content of Mr. Obama's character - or your own - any day of the week, because it is obviously not he who needs a cure for racism, fear, or hatred.

Great analogy, however, what is disturbing is that this has become about race vs. real issues. Yes I believe the man is truly a racist, has very little experience, AND what experience he does have proves what little he has to offer. All I have seen so far from both Candidates is a bunch of blowhards making promises that they either can't keep or won't keep. One is all about race, tearing down our military, and free love. The other is all about fighting the fight and appeasing all others. Whew! We are so screwed! By the time the next 4 years are over we'll all be begging for Bush to return!
